Local Story: Ken Burns
Filmmaker Ken Burns has more than 30 historical documentaries to his credit. Beginning in 1981 with the Brooklyn Bridge, his films for PBS have ignited the interest of people gathered in classrooms and living room's alike.
In an industry where a quick pace and computer generated realities are pervasive, Burns' films rely on thoughtfully related facts and archival photographs. During a visit to Denver, I spoke with Burns about his unique approach to the craft.
