Local Story: Kent Ullberg
Kent Ullberg’s monumental bronze sculptures have been installed in public spaces all over the world, but a project for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science brings his career full circle.
Titled “The Snowmastodon” he is now the 19-foot tall, 5,000 pound greeter outside the museum’s northeast corner.
We spent time with Ullberg at his Loveland studio and the nearby Art Castings of Colorado to learn about the two-year evolution of the project.
