Local Story: Oh Heck Yeah
If you ask Brian Corrigan, gaming gets a bad rap. It’s often deemed childish or seen as a solitary, isolating, activity and either way - seen as a waste of time. Emboldened by studies that found play, of any kind, is a catalyst for creativity, Corrigan and a team of creatives devised a street arcade. They staged it on Denver’s 16th Street Mall where they hoped to show naysayers games are much more than childsplay. As far as they’re concerned games are integral to building creative, connected communities.
