Inside a Colorado castle: Glen Eyrie

Last Updated by Linda Kotsaftis on

In 1871 Palmer built a dream home for his wife.
It's a castle called Glen Eyrie.

Now, many years later we all get to go inside and see some of the secrets of the castle.

There have been some unsual historic finds inside the castle. Apparently, General Palmer had a love for Worcestershire sauce.

And an interesting find of a tree cleat found in a trash pile at the castle.

Glen Eyrie is open to the public for tours and events.

Our crew shows you what it's like behind the scenes.

Colorado Experience airs Thursdays at 7:30pm.
