For 31 years, Rocky Mountain PBS production staff and volunteers have worked closely with schools across the state to help 5th and
6th graders prepare entertaining and informative on-air news pieces.
In 2010, Super School News was awarded the distinguished National Friends of Public Broadcasting Community Development Award.
The national award is “given to the station or friends group with an outstanding outreach project or campaign to raise community awareness and appreciation of the local public television station.”
Super School News has been making a difference and enriching young lives in Colorado for more than three decades. Hear what the program has meant to some of the SSN alumni.
