RMPBS expands educational programs to daytime schedule to support at-home learning
Starting Monday, March 23, Rocky Mountain PBS will air educational programs from 6am to 5pm, weekdays, to support at-home learning while schools are closed due to COVID-19 measures. Accompanying lesson plans and/or digital materials will be provided weekly on this page.
RMPBS will be offering STEAM-focused content on-air from 8am to 5pm, for ages 6 and up focused on science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics. Programs will include PBS favorites like The Great American Read, Nature, NOVA, American Experience, American Masters, and a variety of mini-series and specials.
For children ages 2 and up, RMPBS will be offering programs like Wild Kratts, Peg + Cat and SciGirls between 6am and 8am.
Our PBS KIDS 24/7 channel will continue its regular programming, and PBS KIDS programs will be available on the free PBS KIDS Video app and streaming online.
PBS has increased the number of episodes available on the PBS KIDS Video app, with Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood now offering eight full episodes at a time, up from four.
RMPBS has additional at-home learning resources from PBS LearningMedia, PBS KIDS for Parents, Colorado Experience, and Colorado educational partners.
