Michele Norris talks to Gwen Ifill on events in Ferguson and how they reflect issues prevalent in The Race Card Project.

Can you describe race in six words?

Michele Norris, creator of The Race Card Project, challenges you to: "Think about the word Race. How would you distill your thoughts, experiences or observations about race into one sentence that only has six words? Try it."

Now think to the events of Ferguson, Missouri which have brought the issue of race relations in America to the forefront of public discussion. What are the underlying themes of the racial discrimination in America? Can you describe them in six words?

We'd like to know what you think. Share your thoughts in the comment box below.

Remember: Be honest. Be bold. Be you. However, we also ask that you be courteous and stick to the issues. No personal digs. We want everyone to feel comfortable participating. And if you go there, we won't be afraid to take your comment off here. That simple. Now, let's talk!
